Beach Preservation of Orange County
Protecting Local Beaches
One Coast at a Time
At BPOC we believe that Coastal erosion is decimating the environment, damaging the economy, and putting the public's safety at risk.
Preventing degradation is essential to protecting our coastlines
BPOC is committed to preserving our beaches and combatting the problem of accelerated coastal erosion
Coastal Preservation
BPOC is ensuring the future of recreation on beaches by fighting to preserve coastlines from the depletion of natural resources. Our team is working tirelessly to advocate for the addition of laws that prevent further construction of infrastructure on coasts.
Buildup of materials
At BPOC, we are working hard on monitoring the impact that manmade infrastructure has on the local coast. Structures such as dams prevent sediment from replenishing the beaches because of how much eroded material is being held back.
Community Engagement
Community involvement is at the heart of our mission. Pushing for more awareness can help raise concerns about depleting coastlines. It is our duty to serve the public as much as we can and help solve issues in a timely manner.
Our Goals
We are using our manpower to create more solutions for local communities. Coastal preservation is the most important issue we are facing.
Recruiting more people to standup for our cause is essential. Make your voice heard and join the cause today!
Our Impact
We have had Interviews with local figures to create a conversation about coastal erosions impact.
Explore our interview with Professor Gary Larson of Saddleback College about the current problems we face in todays fight against climate change.
